Havana - Streets

There is much to see in Havana, as there is in most large cities. The architecture is nice and historic buildings are constantly being restored, as budgets allow.

A number of American made cars from the 50's can still be seen in use by the locals. As well, you see a number of newer foreign made cars, such as Hyundais, Suzukis and Peugeots. Many characters that play to the tourists can be found in their normal locations... fortune tellers, old ladies smoking big cigars, ladies in period costumes, etc...

Havana is a very busy city where the vendors are not particularly aggresive, if you are not interested in what they're selling, politely tell them so and they'll move on.
